The New Orleans Charter Science and Mathematics High School is committed to offering high quality, rigorous and personalized education to New Orleans 9^th through 12^th graders. NOCSM High School believes in the potential of each of our students to succeed in higher education, employment and as responsible local and global citizens.

The faculty is dedicated to reaching those students most in need so no applicant is turned away based on test scores or grades. We do, however, hold high expectations for all our students. All students must maintain a decent GPA and must demonstrate that they are committed to growing academically and to contributing to a positive school community.

Applications for for 2008-2009 are now available. Applications for all grades will be taken between February and March 28th. A lottery will be held at that time to determine which applicants recieve seats.

As an open admissions school, we do not have entrance requirements other than that the student and family must be interested in attending a rigorous academic high school.
